Curious as to whether Custom registration will help me (3 posts)

    hi,
    I am trying to set up a multisite network for small business owners in a niche I am familiar with so they can set up their own websites/bogs.

    I would like to set things up with the following features:
    - Pay to blog – with a trial period
    - During registration (or as a “next step”) they get the chance to choose their site from a set of templates that are prepopulated with content for them to edit and that cover a range of different designs.

    Plugins would be pre-set and they would not have access to add new plugins (I may add “premium” plugins later)

    I have tried setting this up using premium plugins from another service but have run into problems and would prefer to try an approach that is not dependent on this particular plugin provider.

    Any suggestions would be welcomed

    This would be the tricky part. :) Our custom registration does not cover this at all.
